What CaptainRoo connects to

Plenty of tools in this category describe connections they are still building. This page is the opposite: it lists every connection, the ones that work today and the ones that do not, with the actual reason.

Accounts you can connect

A card offers Connect only when the sign-in for that service is actually switched on. Everything else shows what is missing and how to get the same analysis today by importing a CSV.

Google Search Console

Read your search clicks, impressions and queries

Checking…

Sign-in is not switched on yet — the Google sign-in credentials for this connection are not configured.

Do this instead: Export your Search Console performance report and import the CSV.

Google Analytics 4

Read sessions, conversions and channel performance

Checking…

Sign-in is not switched on yet — the Google sign-in credentials for this connection are not configured.

Do this instead: Export the GA4 report you care about and import the CSV.

Google Ads

Read campaign, keyword and search-term performance

Checking…

A live connection also needs a Google Ads API developer token approved by Google, which we do not hold yet.

Do this instead: Export the campaign performance and search-terms reports and import them — the analysis is identical.

Meta Ads

Read campaign and ad set performance

Checking…

A live connection needs a reviewed Meta app, which we do not hold yet.

Do this instead: Export the Ads Manager report and import the CSV.

Your website or CMS

Read published pages so content work has real context

Checking…

No CMS sign-in is configured.

Do this instead: Tell CaptainRoo your website address in your business details; page content is not read automatically.

Everything else, stated plainly

CSV report import

Campaign performance and search-term exports from any platform

Working today

Upload the export, map your columns, confirm the number and date format, and CaptainRoo stores an immutable snapshot with its provenance. Duplicate and overlapping periods are caught before anything is counted twice.

Scheduled and emailed reports

A branded report sent to your people weekly or monthly

Working today

Working. Set a cadence and recipients on the Reports page; CaptainRoo builds the report from your latest finished audit and emails it. The email links to the report, where the PDF is downloaded — our email service does not support attachments yet.

MCP — AI agent access

Let your own AI tools read your CaptainRoo workspace

Working today

A signed-in, read-only MCP endpoint exposes your workspaces, imports, reconciled metrics, audit findings, recommendations and reports. It can read; it can never write or change anything.

Applying changes to your ad account

Push an approved recommendation back into the platform

Not connected

Not built, and deliberately so. CaptainRoo never has permission to change your advertising accounts. Approved recommendations are yours to carry out, with the reasoning and the evidence attached.

Scheduled data refresh

Data updating on its own between imports

Not connected

Not built. Data enters CaptainRoo only when you import it. Depends on the live connections below.

SEO content plan

A written plan of pages and topics to work on

Not yet

On the roadmap, and only ever as a draft you edit. It will be written from your own site and your own imported figures. It will never claim search volumes, competitor rankings or results we cannot show you the source for.

Paid creative drafts

Draft ad headlines and descriptions to review

Working today

Working as drafts only. The creative drafts page writes ad copy for Google, Facebook & Instagram, TikTok and X from your own business details and imported figures, and shows the sources on every card. CaptainRoo does not run A/B tests, does not look at competitors' ads, and never uploads creative to an advertising account.

The short version

CaptainRoo analyses the data you give it. It does not sign in to your advertising accounts, does not change your campaigns, and never estimates a number you did not import. Anything it cannot work out from your own data is labelled unavailable rather than filled in.
